The past week, I have met amazing farmers and fishermen throughout Oregon and Northern California. A common theme is that regulations are interfering with small scale food providers ability to fed their community and make a living. In the guise of food safety and environmental conservation, farming and fishing communities are finding alternative methods to continue putting food on peoples’ plates.
